音的思考
音の本質とは何かと聞かれたら、私は「関係性」だと答えたい。”もの”や”こと”、何かと何か、言い出せばきりがないくらいの様々な関係が聴覚的に現れたもの。それが”音”だろう。その音という現象の背景にある「関係性」は単なる物理的なものではなく、私たちの日常や社会の中の何かと似ているところがあって、とても詩的で興味深く思えることがある。このように音が持つ様々な側面をユーモアをもって類推し、飛躍させることは私にとってとても重要な考え方である。
